On Feb. 7, 1967 at
7:30 p.m., CBS aired a National Geographic Special entitled "Alaska." This is likely the same special, except distributed by Encyclopaedia Britannica to schools.
These specials were always high-class and well edited, tied together by the rich narration of Alexander Scourby.
This special presents a good overview of current (1967) Alaska, as well as the Klondike Gold Rush days, retracing the steps the gold-bugs took during a harsh winter.
